Bio of Kathleen Anderson Ross
I believe in living your life to the fullest, following your dreams, feeling and being your best throughout every stage of life. And I believe that everyone can start where they are right now to do something better for themselves and for the earth. People need to know how sustainability translates to them and how much fun it is to be a Sustainability Participant.
I have been a natural health advocate, teacher, student, and consultant for 30+ years. Organic food, holistic health, nature and natural well being, sustainability, inspired living, right livelihood: this is my everyday life. This is what I think about and what I do before I think about or do anything. Favorite words: Organic, sustainability, inspired, well being, love, thanks.
I have created recipes and written for magazines and books, designed vitamin supplement formulas, and produced audio and video health programs. I had a small business specializing in cleaning out client’s kitchens, teaching them how to shop in a natural foods store (this was before the chains made natural foods stores into high end grocery stores), and taught them how to cook with organic , healthy ingredients. Working with my husband, a holistic medical doctor, I have witnessed the health transformations of literally thousands of motivated people, one inspiring person at a time.
Today, I’m a working mom with a phone practice, counseling people about inspired well being, and an informative blog. I’m also co-founder of Ross Health Institute where we produce a weekly teleconference on health subjects, from a west meets east perspective, that our members either listen in on live or download at their leisure. Our goal is to help our members stay informed so that they can continue to feel well and be proactive about their health care. Learn more at www.rosshealthinstitute.com.
Whether in the garden, spending time with family, recording a Ross Health Institute conference, cleaning the hen house, posting on my blog, writing my book about aging healthfully, hiking in nature, or consulting with a client, each moment is fresh and new with creativity.
